Solid state – solid performance. The i-STS range of static transfer switches are engineered around solid state power electronics components, unlike the outdated relay type systems our competitors use. With reliability being key in critical power applications the exclusion of moving parts means an i-STS static transfer switch will transfer without interruption time and time again.

More than just a switch. Using reliable programmable logic control IC's, the i-STS runs through self-diagnosis routines, monitors both supplies simultaneously and refers back to user settings before making an informed decision to transfer. The intelligent software loaded in the i-STS ensures this transfer is initiated only when it is needed and only when there can be no damage to your critical load (during supply fault) or supplies (during load fault).

 

Simplicity Is The Key. Featuring a back lit graphic LCD display the control panel uses a clean, easy to operate user interface to provide clear status identification. View variables, real-time event list (100) and set operating and detection levels. The i-STS can be easily transferred from one supply to the other by using the TRANSFER pushbutton and incorporates a single operation Preferred Source selection.

Communication. The standard i-STS Static Transfer Switch is fitted with seven discrete voltage-free contacts and three remote inputs. If you require a more advanced HLI monitoring solution, Modbus - as well as a web browser interface and SNMP - are incorporated to monitor and if needed, control the STS. Setting of all of the STS parameters is performed via the LCD and can also be performed using the web browser interface.

Maximum Reliability. i-STS Static Transfer Switches feature a high reliability, low maintenance, robust design with redundant detection circuitry and power supplies. The units use Digital Signal Processing and high speed digital sampling for stable, reliable and predictable operation.
